Day Care Service

The group meets three times a week as follows:

Tuesday
Venue: Pilmeny Youth Centre, 44 Buchanan Street, Edinburgh
Time: 10am - 3pm

Wednesday
Venue: Pilmeny Youth Centre, 44 Buchanan Street, Edinburgh
Time: 10am - 3pm

Thursday
Venue: Jameson street, 20 Jameson Place
Time: 10am - 3pm

 

At these groups, there are opportunities to take part in the following activities:

Educational Activities

• talks on health, social welfare and housing

Recreational Activities

• lunch (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), gentle exercise, yoga, massage, trips and outings
• celebration of the major festivals of the four communities

Transport

• transport is provided to those elderly who cannot use public transport and have a disability
